- Transportation: Secure vehicle transportation
- Storage Solutions: Temporary and long-term storage
- Insurance Coverage: Optional goods insurance
- Vehicle Transportation: Car and bike shifting
3. Service Area and Availability
Our services are primarily available across India with focus on major cities and towns. Service availability may vary based on location, distance, and operational capacity. We reserve the right to decline service requests that fall outside our operational area or capacity.
4. Booking and Confirmation Process
4.1 Quote Request
- Customers can request quotes through our website, phone, or email
- Quotes are provided based on information supplied by the customer
- All quotes are estimates and may vary based on actual requirements
- Quotes are valid for 15 days from the date of issue
4.2 Booking Confirmation
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of advance payment
- Written confirmation will be provided via email or SMS
- Changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional charges
- Minimum 48 hours notice required for booking changes
5. Pricing and Payment Terms

5.3 Additional Charges
- Staircase Charges: Additional floors beyond ground floor
- Long Carry: Distance from vehicle to door exceeding 50 meters
- Waiting Charges: Delays beyond 2 hours at pickup/delivery
- Overtime Charges: Work beyond standard hours (6 PM - 8 AM)
- Toll and Parking: Actual charges incurred during transit
6. Customer Responsibilities
6.1 Pre-Move Responsibilities
- Provide accurate inventory and service requirements
- Ensure all items are ready for packing/loading
- Obtain necessary permissions from housing societies/offices
- Arrange for parking space for moving vehicles
- Be present during packing, loading, and delivery
- Provide clear directions and contact information
6.2 Prohibited Items
We do not transport the following items:
- Hazardous materials (chemicals, explosives, flammable items)
- Perishable food items
- Live plants and animals
- Illegal or contraband items
- Currency, jewelry, and valuable documents (unless declared)
- Liquids in open containers
- Items with sentimental value beyond monetary worth
7. Company Responsibilities and Service Standards
7.1 Service Commitments
- Provide trained and experienced staff
- Use appropriate packing materials and techniques
- Handle goods with reasonable care
- Maintain communication throughout the moving process
- Deliver goods within agreed timeframe
- Provide tracking information when available
7.2 Quality Standards
- Professional packing using quality materials
- Proper loading and securing of goods
- Safe transportation with experienced drivers
- Careful unloading and placement of items
- Clean-up of packing materials upon request
8. Insurance and Liability
8.1 Insurance Coverage
- Basic Coverage: Included in standard service (limited liability)
- Comprehensive Insurance: Available at additional cost
- Transit Insurance: Covers goods during transportation
- Storage Insurance: For goods in temporary storage
8.2 Liability Limitations
Important: Our liability is limited to the declared value of goods or actual repair/replacement cost, whichever is lower. Maximum liability per consignment is ₹1,00,000 unless higher coverage is purchased.
8.3 Claim Process
- Claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery
- Written notice required with supporting documentation
- Physical inspection may be conducted
- Settlement within 30 days of claim acceptance
- Disputes resolved through arbitration if necessary
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

9.2 Company Cancellation
We may cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, weather conditions, or operational constraints. In such cases, full refund will be provided within 7 working days.
10. Delivery Terms and Conditions
10.1 Delivery Timeline
- Local Moves: Same day or next day delivery
- Intercity Moves: 2-7 days depending on distance
- Long Distance: 5-15 days based on route and logistics
- Timelines are estimates and may vary due to external factors
10.2 Delivery Requirements
- Customer or authorized representative must be present
- Valid ID proof required for goods receipt
- Immediate inspection and acknowledgment of goods
- Any damages must be noted before signing delivery receipt
11. Storage Services
11.1 Storage Conditions
- Secure, climate-controlled warehouses
- 24/7 security surveillance
- Fire safety and pest control measures
- Individual inventory tracking
11.2 Storage Charges
- First 15 days: Complimentary (for transit delays)
- Additional days: ₹5-10 per cubic foot per day
- Monthly rates available for long-term storage
- Insurance charges separate
12. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)
- Government actions or regulations
- Labor strikes or disputes
- Transportation breakdowns
- Pandemic or health emergencies
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Grievance Process
- Level 1: Direct resolution with service team
- Level 2: Escalation to customer service manager
- Level 3: Review by senior management
- Level 4: Arbitration or legal proceedings
13.2 Arbitration
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015. The arbitration shall be conducted in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
14. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Domestic Moving Packers and Movers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Important Limitation: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
